This past weekend, I took a 5 hour drive up to Gatlinburg, TN for their Slammedenuff car show. This event was not your typical car show, to say the least. Once I was within an hour of the town, I started seeing the first of what the rest of the weekend would look like: stanced cars driving in groups. I followed a group of slammed 350zā€™s through the mountains as I listened to my GPS, only to get left in the turns like I was standing still. When I came into town, it became apparent that the town completely transformed for this weekend, with pre-meets and cruising all throughout the town. It seemed everywhere we went, you were within eyeshot or earshot of a car here for the show. I realized this weekend was going to entail much more than just the meet.

On Saturday, the organization of the meet was a bit interesting. We were required to get a wrist band that showed we paid, and a band to show we did not have a temperature due to covid. There was a bit of a communication issue with who to get the bands from/which one to get first/etc. However, once inside, the facilities were great and the cars were better. Upon entrance, you were greeted by a slammed Ferrari Testarossa on custom 3 pieces, a BMW M4, and a true R32 GTR. The vendors were great and this was a great show to attend. I would highly recommend for anyone to attend a show put on by this group, as it was really an enjoyable experience. I enjoyed that there was an outdoor area and, if you got approved, an indoor area for those cars that deserved a little extra spotlight.
