Fall Double Down at Watermelon Capital Speedway

iTrack Motorsports hosted Fall Double Down this past weekend, which consisted of all day hot laps on Saturday and Sunday. The location is unique in that the drifting takes place on the infield of a 3/8 mile paved oval track. The ‘pits’ are simply just park on the outside of the oval track all the way around and set up shop there. Usually, I will camp at these 2 day events but living only 45 mins away, I just made the drive twice.

The event is super fun to be a part of, as there is music playing in the middle and everyone hanging with their friends giving rides. It is much more laid back, and by not having a competition the event can be focused on just having a good time.
